| If you are away from home staying within our practice area and are in need of treatment, you can register with our surgery as a temporary resident. This temporary status means that the surgery will be responsible for your medical care during your stay and is relevant if you are resident in our practice area for more than twenty four hours and for up to three months.
The surgery needs the patient's administrative details entered on a temporary residents form GMS3. This form can be completed when you attend at the surgery.
You can expect to receive the same medical care and attention that our regular patients have access to.
If you are in the area for less than twenty four hours there is a similar arrangement for provision of emergency treatment.
