A little smile by the dispensary staff (who are invariably busy and under pressure ) would go a long way! So would acknowledgement that you are waiting at the counter .

about confidentiality at surgery. The dispensing staff are excellent- the problem arises when others waiting in the lobby will not respect the privacy of the person being served- and clamour for thier turn- they are so rude.
Whilst destination for scripts has lately been accurate, there is still a major problem between private or NHS prescriptions.

The dispensing service I have found to be very efficient and reliable

The dispensing staff are always very courteous and professional.
Our dispensing services are quick, efficien t, helpful and friendly. They are available by phone and by computer, so you can always get in touch. I dont think we could do much better. Aren't we lucky!!
Question 3 is rather strange. I wonder how I could know whether information is kept confidential or not? I wait at the dispensary counter and request my prescription medication, thank the prescription staff when I am passed my medication and 'exit ' stage left! I can only say, that when standing in line to collect my drugs I have never heard any confidential information being passed to/from the person(s) ahead of me in the queue. I can only assume that the staff and the respective patients modify their voices as/if necessary, I would, if it were called for.
The ordering and dispensing services are excellent, with one exception, it would be very useful for many people if the dispensary was open for collection of medication on a Saturday morning.
the online web access is invaluable for repeat prescription ordering and works very well.

This is for the service I get at the Stalbridge Chemist, I donot use the dispensary at the surgery
I collect my prescriptions from the chemist so have no experience of questions 1 -3
nothing much to add except that the area does not encourage confidentiality but given the physicality of the space not a lot you can do to change this
I'm always singing your praises, especially when I hear the criticisms from others in different parts of the county.

I find that the web site has been unavailable on quite a few occations reasons unknown .

I collect my prescriptions from the pharmacy, so this survey is not applicable.
Maybe a sign to only allow one person at a time into the dispensing 'cubicle' would improve confidentiality, otherwise excellent
Would be good to have a place on the internet to order presriptions other than repeat prescriptions
No 3 was average because the door to the dispensary needs to be open if other people are waiting for their prescriptions, so it is not always very private if you need to talk.
There is a lack of privacy in the despensing area when there are other people waiting to collect prescriptions.
