| From 1 October 2004 we will be joining the new county wide out of hours medical service: Dorset Emergency Care Service (DECS).
This service will provide cover for all our patients (including those in Somerset) who need help with urgent medical problems when the surgery is closed.
As with current arrangements and depending on the nature and seriousness of the condition this might involve advice over the telephone, a visit to a local treatment centre or a visit by a doctor, nurse or paramedic.
You can also call NHS Direct for general information with trained nurses on hand for expert advice.
- Call DECS when the surgery is closed on 0845 600 10 13
- Call NHS Direct at any time on 0845 46 47.
Surgery hours are changing
DECS also covers weekends and so the surgery will be closing on Saturday mornings.
From 1 October 2004, our Surgery opening hours will be
8:45am - 1:00pm and 1:45pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday. |
