Minor injuries units can deal with illnesses or injuries that are not serious enough to need a visit to Accident and Emergency. They are not intended to replace a visit to a GP or to deal with serious emergencies like heart attacks. Opening times are as follows:

    Normal opening times: 7.30 am to 8.30 pm. Christmas and New Year as normal.
  • Verrington Hospital, Dancing Lane, Wincanton. (01963-32006)
    From 7 am to 10 pm seven days a week.
